Sermons
Some of these sermons date from my younger and less experienced years, and I would be embarrassed to preach those nowadays. I like to keep them here however, 'for the record'.

Just Chatting

Fresh start
A few weeks ago, I have begun my curacy in the Anglican Cathedral in Cairo.  The priest there who takes care of me, is Mike Parker.  It is great to be serving in a church with people from many nationalities, like Egyptians, Sudanese, Brits, Americans, people from Myanmar, and more. This weekend I will preach on Jeremiah and his call to be a prophet.

Dutch blog for cloggies
If you happen to know the glorious Dutch language, you may be interested to follow my musings on my main blog. Any brainwave seems to pass that blog, so be warned.  This website where you presently are, contains my longer (more lasting) writings.  My blog is a bit eh... well... less permanent shall we say?  KLIK HIER

Surat al-Fatiha

Under 'studies' I have placed some self-study I am doing in the Qur'an - just a feeble beginning. Have a look and let me know my mistakes ;-)

Coptic Studies

Under the Studies button, you can find some lectures I have recently (February- March 2008) held in our church here in Maadi (Egypt). I will probably continue to work on them as I happen to be a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to historical truth and the shape of documents. Oh, if only I had been a native English speaker. I hope you enjoy these and the other papers of mine that will slowly appear here.
